2008 Girls Aloud (Not) at the Jobcentre …Just after 9… A— W— announced the act that was appearing: “Girls Not Aloud”, comprising of, in order of appearance: N— G—, in tights and top, with a bad blonde wig; P— H—, in a black, tight-fitting dress (not a pretty sight); H— M— P—, gorgeous in a long, black, strappy, v-necked dress, the skirt of which was slashed at the front to reveal the legs, with a shrug over the shoulders; and M— C—, in a strappy dress. I wish I’d brought my camera.[i] People howled with laughter, it was so funny.…
