Did some homework, morning. I was still off school for the Christmas holidays, but before we broke up we had been given homework assignments to do.
- Afternoon:
Went to see Nanny and Grandad after dinner. I assume that Steven and I still regularly kept up the custom of visiting Nanny and Grandad Cooper twice a week, although this is not explicitly stated in the 1966 diary: on Thursdays, we had our tea at their house; and on Saturdays, both dinner and tea. See Nanny and Grandad’s house, and environs; The Apple Incident. It seems that today, I went there for the afternoon, not just at tea-time.
- Evening:
Went to prayer meeting, night—the regular Thursday-evening Prayer Meeting at the Full Gospel Church, Fleetwood.
