The diary-entry for today is as follows:

Did some homework in
morning—went to Nanny Paine
& Grandad Jack’s. After dinner
did little homework, Aud came,
went out some tracking in
Thornton. All Went to Prayer &
Testimony meeting.

Nanny Paine and Grandad Jack (Edith and John Edward Paine) were my Mum’s parents, who lived in South Shore, Blackpool. See Family matters.
