Thursday 19th May 1966
1966 The 43rd General Conference of Assemblies of God in Great Britain and Ireland was held at Butlin’s holiday camp, Clacton, from Saturday 14th May to Saturday 21st May 1966. Thursday 19th May was my birthday; I was 16.
I wrote this note after I wrote the one occupying the space for Ascension Day Thursday 19—i.e. after 22nd June 1966—for if I had written it before then, I would have done so within the space rather than above it. This is one of two birthday cards that I received from Audrey Wood while I was going out with her. I’m not sure now which is which, i.e. this one may be the one received in 1967. |
