1966

At the top right of this week’s page-opening, I scribbled:

Got more RC gen
this week.
Got more R[oman] C[atholic] gen [information] this week: Cf. Thursday 24th February 1966.

In the NOTES section is a note for this evening:

Elsie Wriglesworth at Aud’s
Fri.—I’m invited.
The diary-entry proper for today is as follows:

School as usual!
Went Grandad’s 79th birthday
tea. Then got lift to Aud’s.
Went for walk with Aud
because of an uneasy feeling
inside. Went church. Pastor
and Mrs. S getting things
ready—helped. Met Robert.
So what happened to the visit of Elsie Wrigglesworth at the Woods’ house, to which I was invited?

Met Robert: Robert Parkinson, I assume. But cf. Wednesday 23rd March 1966 where it is Robert Miller who is mentioned; however, there, I felt the need to add the surname Miller.
