1966

At the top of the page for 27–29 January there is a note—

CHEM
—presumably some sort of revision-plan prior to the exams. In the NOTES section is this note:

Pay Mrs. Smith for badge.
The diary-entry proper for today is as follows:

Jehovah’s witnesses there.
Discussion on “Life after death”. They
ignore truth on Second Birth.
Enmity set in (“Principalities &
powers”). Tracking in Thornton
(afternoon) with Aud, with new
Osborn tracts. Film at night
Martin Luther. Good. Plymouth
brethren there.
Doyle never turned up.
Jehovah’s witnesses [were] there: Tony was back for a second seemingly fruitless discussion with the JWs today (cf. Saturday 22nd January 1966). However, later, perhaps a year or two, he was converted and fellowshipped with us at Fleetwood Full Gospel Church.

I had already pencilled a note in the NOTES section about the film-show at church:

Film Sat:
“Martin Luther”
