Sunday 16th January 1966

1966

At the top of the page for 16–19 January there is a note—

MATHS
—presumably some sort of revision-plan prior to the exams. The diary-entry proper for today is as follows:

Went to
Communion. Message by Mrs.
Smith in tongues. Went
to Warren St. then on knocker. Mrs. Wood’s
for tea. Gospel service at
night.
The Full Gospel Church had two branch Sunday Schools in Fleetwood: one, which was held at West View, before the morning Communion Service; and one, which was held at a small hall in Warren Street, in the afternoon. I later became a Sunday School teacher, the first training session for which was on Sunday 13th March 1966, so my going to Warren Street may have been my first exploratory steps in that direction.
