1966 Very depressed again: It seems that the depression started with my inability to come to terms with my conscience over too much snogging (see, e.g. Saturday 9th July 1966), and was exacerbated when I finally gave way to “•” on Sunday 10th July 1966, and kept on doing so. Again—i.e., as well as on Tuesday 26th July 1966. Alec Tee was Scottish, an Elim minister and evangelist who had a campaign in a marquee in a field at South Shore, Blackpool. He prayed for the sick in these meetings. I greatly amused Aud’s lot—the Wood household—with my imitations of him. Chris and Trev sent me a picture postcard, headed Wednesday, with a black-and-white photo of The Royal Dock, Grimsby, postmarked LOUTH, LINCS. 12.30 PM 27 JLY 1966.
